Prevent 'Flash Out of Date' message?

Is there any way to prevent Opera checking Flash version and telling me it's out of date after an update?
I like to have the option to run a previous Flash version as some sites I use are occasionally buggy when a new Flash comes out. In the past it was easy to revert to an older version but these days Opera is controlling it for me.

Currently you can't. This is because Flash is one of the major sources of vulnerabilities on the internet and Chromium based browsers barely tolerate its existence as it is. They generally do not support outdated versions at all. Its being phased out as a whole too.
