Save as PDF font size too small

When using Save as PDF, the font size is very small in the PDF compared to the screen.
The only workaround I found is to manually adjust the font size in the settings ("Font Size: Very large") to get the PDF to render better. Then after saving as PDF, I need to restore the font size setting.
Is there any way to set the PDF font size larger without changing the screen font? -

Are you running a very large resolution? Are you using the zoom feature of Opera?

The monitor resolution is 1920x1080. I am using font size medium and page zoom of 100%.
The smaller font size for the PDF means that paragraphs are formatted with more characters per lines than on the screen. The font size relative to the page or column width is not consistent between screen and PDF.

Are you using the PDF plugin that comes with Opera (Chrome PDF Viewer) or some other PDF plugin? What PDF viewer are you using inside Windows?

I am using the Opera extension PDF Viewer Version 1.0.606. Inside Windows I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2015.009.20079

One more question: which is your Opera version and stream? There's an issue in the developer version with pages sometimes incorrectly rendered on high DPI settings (e.g. 150%), hence the question - maybe your issue is related

Have you tried disabling PDF Viewer, enabling Chrome PDF, restarting the browser and testing with another PDF? The issue might be specific to that extension.
