Adblock isn't working

My adblock doesn't work! When I turn it on I still see the same ads as when I turn it off. This is on two phones, a Note 3 and a Huawei Mate 8.

@merijin2 you may try clearing the cache. For clearing the cache, you may need to go to setting -> app -> choose opera app -> clear cache.
There are some instance when ad blocker doesn't work if there is some cached data available. -

I have tried all available options but does not work. The data savings mode work only in the automatic mode and the seems the page does not load properly.

@ob-mish are you talking about Opera Mini? There is no "Automatic" mode in Opera for Android.

I thought the problem was that I was visiting pages that weren't in English. Either way, it would be nice to select the adblock filters, as we do in the desktop version.
