I started using Opera on j2me. The page info pop-up toast was very useful.
As was the ability to just view the images of a site.
A right-click type of view-source would be great to investigate and learn the css and html5 coding of websites..
The downloading of images for your screen size...

Personally I'd rather have these back than have a page loading bullsh1t 'news' items and wasting my data plan.

Whatever happened to the 'swiss-army-knife' attitude to building browser UI. I think that's why many move to Dolphin & FF, or just keep AOSP with it's better integration and lower Mb.
