Theme not displayed on Start Page

I have just installed Opera's latest version on my old Windows Desktop pc Vista 32bit
But I cannot get the chosen Theme to display on the Start Page. It just displays white instead of a chosen
Theme. Even default Themes won't work.Any ideas please.

I installed Windows 10 yesterday and have the same problem, even reinstalled Opera but no theme on start page!

Yep seems you have the same issue then. I have tried several Themes as well as default. None works! I to have tried a reinstall of Opera, still the same. Hopefully those at Opera might be aware of this and offer some advice if they come across our posts.

The staff of Opera doesn't generally post on the forums. I have seen other people report this problem, though I don't experience it myself. It is a known issue. I don't know of a fix offhand. Really, all the theme changes is the background of your speed dial page, bookmarks manager page, etc, so its not a huge loss.

Ok Lando242 thanks for the info, as you say no huge loss. Maybe it will start to work in the next update etc.. Thanks again.

Thanks Lando242, I checked out the link and tried some of the suggestions but to no avail. Themes still not displaying. Not to worry I can live with the lack of Themes. It may start to work at a later date, some update etc..

There has been an opera update and its fixed the Theme problem I had. Thanks Opera
