Speed Dial 'box' staying visible on other pages?

System: Mac OS X 10.12.5 64-bitI get the 'Speed Dial' sites when I open Opera, but when I navigate off the speed dial screen the grey box with white letters that say "Speed Dial" stays visible on the other pages. Not sure if this is something I can affect, and normally it is not a problem, but today I went to a page that had a menu of items in the upper left hand portion of the page, and the Speed Dial box obscured it. Any thoughts on what might be causing it to stay visible and not go away? I submitted a screen capture to support, but don't see a method of posting it here....

What grey box with white letters? I do not see any such box even on the Speed Dial page itself.

That screen capture that you submitted to the support, could you please provide a link here as well? I neither am seeing such a problem.
Might you be referring to the dark left side box with the white icons? The sidebar? If so, then you can just click the bottom most icon to unpin it. Though, I have a feeling that may not be it since it doesn't actually say "Speed Dial" on it.
