opera quit unexpectedly

Hi, I encounter the following problem with my opera browser in my mac. I quit the application with command Q and when I tried to reopen it I got a pop-up saying that "Opera quit unexpectedly" and I couldn't reopen it. Is there any solution to this, how to open again the opera?

This also happens to me. It has happened about 10 times so far since I updated (attempting to fix my opera app). I was in the middle of logging-in at a site and it had opened the login box and somehow crashed. That has happened at two sites so far. Fiddled w all settings turned off all extensions. It will still crash close (and will also not save session tabs). It also crashes at some element in a page. I had wondered if it was flash, java, or some content that opera was blocking that caused it to crash (i had already cleared cache etc..) and had the problem with opera not opening. I had to turn off my wifi connection and relaunch to get it to open normally. It also showed it was open but showed my desktop only with opera nav at top when i had closed all my tabs and restarted (oops)..it still should have started at start page? possibly..weird
