Moving bookmarks to bookmarks bar

Running Opera 43 on an iMac running El Capitan.
Am learning the ins and outs of Opera.
Looking at this screenshot in Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/206wt3b1wz6swv7/clip_2.png?dl=0 can anyone tell me how to move/copy/whatever, the bookmarks listed in the right-hand window (the list beginning with Bethesda MD, into the folder labeled #1 on the Bookmarks bar?
I can't drag and drop en masse or one by one. Please tell me that one doesn't have to go each site, choose to bookmark it again, then place each bookmark into Folder #1 on the bookmarks bar one at a time.

If you open the bookmarks "Show All Bookmarks" window, you should be able to drag and drop things into the bookmarks toolbar item in there.

Hi concretable,
I guess, as usual, I was unclear in the way I put my question.
Here's an annotated screenshot

Try as I may, I can find no simple way to move those bookmarks on the right into that #1 bookmarks folder on my bookmarks bar.
Dragging one from the window on the right, for instance, and dropping it right on top of that #1 folder in the bookmarks toolbar results in a window allowing me to add it to the Bookmarks Bar, not drop it into the #1 folder which is what I want to do.
If it's not too much of a hassle, could I ask you to be a bit more specific?
Many thanks for your patience.

open Bookmarks Bar on the left side (the actual Bookmarks Bar, not some folder named Bookmarks Bar) and drag your bookmarks from the left to desired folder in it

To be even more specific, drag the menu onto the item with the heart in the middle of the folder. That was how I got all my bookmarks onto the bookmarks toolbar.

Got it guys. Thanks. It is so different from Safari, my default browser for 20 years, that I had a difficult time wrapping my mind around exactly what the process was.
Greatly appreciate your patience.
