(Phone & Opera info at bottom)
I just got a new phone with Android 7.0. I was going to set Opera storage to external SD, but the option has disappeared!
For apps that can be moved to external storage, there's a Change button in the App Info / storage section. There's no Change button for apps that can't be moved. Opera doesn't have a buttonI got the phone around the time of the last Opera update & am not sure if it's the phone or the app. I did an uninstall / reinstall with no change. Then I uninstalled Opera & installed Opera beta. Still no button to send it to external SD.
Is it Opera or is it the phone? Either way, I don't like it!!! :pPhone: LG Aristo (M210), Nougat, T-Mobile
Opera 42.4
Opera beta 42.4

There are many apps to do that, move apps to SD, you may try but not sure if it will force them or if they cannot by be moved by default they can not be moved even with an independent App.

Opera was movable until a week or 2 ago. The old phone (Android 5.1) had a "Move to SD button" that was always available for Opera. My new phone with Android 7.0 is set up a little differently & there's a "Change" button for movable apps. Opera doesn't have the Change button in Android 7.0. I want to find out if the option was removed by Opera developers or if something about Android 7.0 stops users from moving Opera to external SD

Just installed Opera mini. It can be moved to SD. Never used it before but I'm going to give it a try.
