Reloading of open tabs

Hi,
I am traveling a lot by train. Unfortunately, I don't have a stable internet connection along the tracks. Therefore, I always have about 50-100 open tabs I want to read later on. But, when I sit in the train and want to read the articles, Opera tries to reload the tabs, and I end up with 50-100 white, empty tabs... Ok, I can read a real book, not an ebook or online newspaper articles, my local bookstore will love me again (is it still open, I wonder??), but is there a solution for the forementioned problem? Should not be difficult to tell Opera to keep a local copy and do not the reload until I manually press the reload button???

the probem you describe has been discussed here before ad nauseam, most likely a memory issue with your phone and open background apps.
a quick'n dirty fix for this is to 'Save for offline'. sadly opera doesn't allow sorting or grouping into folders.

Yes, I noticed that in the meantime...
So, it is a hardware problem, not a software problem?

Something inbetween outside Opera's control, my guess. lots of apps install themselves with autostart permission, residing permanently and demanding ram memory allocation from android. even when manually terminated in android's app menu many of them restart themselves by hooking into various system event calls.
hard to fix without root access, maybe the 'autorun manager' app helps.

sry, forgot to mention: o4a is hogging memory like a greedy pig. you might want to try opera mini instead, much slimmer and quite capable.
season's greetings and good luck.

I have allowed opera autostart permission. Other browsers work fine, but opera always reloads tab. Even during switching tabs.
