Hi,
Almost all of opera services, Including download and update is blocked in this country and we have to use a vpn or such tools to access them.
I just want to know if there is any particular reason for it. Firefox and Chrome is unblocked in Iran, So what's the difference between Opera and them? Thanks

Perhaps because the Opera browser has always had an inherent proxy capability (via Turbo and more recently, directly via built-in VPN access) that permit some users to get around local web censorship of website URLs. If the local authorities become aware of the IP addresses of the VPN/proxy servers in use, they will attempt to block access to them as well. It's easier to block VPN/proxy access addresses 'wired into' a browser than VPN/proxy addresses that may be changed more readily, as with external VPNs.
