Opera just auto-updated again. Now every youtube video comes up with a page crash (HTML5), reloading the page just brings another page crash error. Flushing opera's cache with the History Eraser extension allows a single video to play but subsequent ones get a page crash. All extensions disabled and browser restart, same error.

There's a distinct lack of Q&A being undertook before these updates are pushed out via auto-update IMO.

      Win7 64bit.

The simple fact of the matter is that there are not that many people having issues. Even much larger companies like Google and MS only do a limited amount of testing before rolling out releases and every single time there will always be someone, somewhere with a problem. The shear number of different versions of Windows, not just major revisions but minor ones also, plus the myriad different types of hardware it runs on the drivers it makes use off makes it impossible to test for everything.

But hey, you get what you pay for.

It'll be interesting to see if any others have the same problem. I run a vanilla win7 install with nvidia drivers, no shodowplay or custom settings. The only opera visual setting not at default is page zoom, currently at 125%.

I'd gladly pay for opera (and did for many years) if it meant better functionality testing before updates. Everything was running fine here with v37, the last couple of patches have borked it.

Anyone else having problems with v38.0.2220.31?

Yes I do, I'm having the same problem. I noticed that it happens with long videos (>10 minutes) and it's been happening since yesterday. Everytime i try to watch a long video, opera just freeze and I have to manually shut down the process.
            I'm also running W7 64 bit.
