@leocg Fair point. The computer in question is a work computer, managed by IT staff that supply my OS credentials, so I was hoping to add one more layer of personalization.

I have my browser set up with all of my favorites, links, and auto-fill credentials to make my daily browsing simple and easy. However, I would like to prevent others from accessing my configured browser for security and privacy reasons. Having a single password required to launch the app would fill that need. There is an extension add-on that partially does this, but there are some issues with it, and I believe it should be a built in option for Opera.
