RE: Adobe Flash out of dateOpera for Linux
Besides, I had to replace libffmpeg.so becuase youtube said, my Opera didn't support h.264, so I downloaded opera-ffmpeg-codecs-58.0.3029.81-1-x8664.pkg.tar.xz from repo.herecura.eu/herecura/x8664/... and now everything is all right!
Thank you so much for pointing that out! I am finally able to play h.264 videos with opera on my fedora machine!

RE: failed to play html5 video: unsupported codecsOpera for Linux
@jimunderscorep do html5 videos work on your machine?
I installed the
chromium-media-libs
package on fedora and had to change the path in theffmpeg_preload_config.json
fromlib
tolib64
:cat /usr/lib64/opera/resources/ffmpeg_preload_config.json [ "lib_extra/libffmpeg.so", "/usr/lib64/chromium-browser/libffmpeg.so", "/usr/lib64/chromium-browser/libs/libffmpeg.so" ] find / -name libffmpeg.so 2> /dev/null /home/wadka/.local/share/Trash/files/libffmpeg.so /usr/lib64/chromium-browser/libffmpeg.so /usr/lib64/electron/1.3.13/libffmpeg.so /usr/lib64/opera/libffmpeg.so
So everything should work, but it still doesn't...

RE: Opera Linux .rpm codecs supportOpera for Linux
reason is wrong location
Did you manage to get it working? I added the lib64 paths after installing chromium via dnf but it still won't play h.264 encoded videos...

Slack Messenger SupportSuggestions and feature requests
I can't believe I haven't found a request for Slack integration in the suggestion box! We use Slack where I work and it would make my browsing experience a blast if I could respond to slack messages without switching tasks!
This is my #1 most desired feature since I fell in love with this beautiful sidebar!
