Was the WebUSB finally fixed?
In recent Opera versions I had the problem that in the WebUSB window my phone showed up but there was no confirmation button (select device and confirm) what makes it useless.
I had to install Chrome to use WebUSB.

Another Issue was in Settings page, hovering or moving mouse causes an flashing of background color (dark mode).
I mean if you move the mouse over diffrent areas of setting page the background color was changing a bit, if you look close its very obvious.
Hope its fixed now, havent install it so far.

And you dont see here an opportunity to protect your users and make the browser more safe?

The point is if you let a "friend" use your browser for short time he/she can just read all the passwords that are saved.

Thats an usual thing and no one logs off just to let a friend watch an website.

Please add password protection for saved passwords in Opera for Windows.

I have lot of passwords saved in my Opera browser and anyone that uses my Computer can simply open browser settings and view all saved passwords, that is an serious security issue.

One solution would be if password category can be only open after password entering or clear view look on password of saved site after password/ pin entering.

After a Opera clean install i always disable all sidebar apps (before i go online) but from time to time the apps enables themself in sidebar.
There are also notification windows that appears "Instagram now aviable bla bla bla".

I use Opera long time on Desktop and Mobile devices because of the speed and innovative functions, at the beginning it was (in my opinion) privacy oriented and unbloated, but in recent releases it goes more and more in the opposite direction.

Besides the points above i really like Opera (android and windows x64) and will thank you for your work.

Its nice too have all of that features built-in (because every user is diffrent and have diffrent use preferences) but please give the possibility to disable sidebar socialmedia plugins totally!!!

I use AdGuardHome as DNS adfilter and have every month 150k of requests by facebook (blocked facebook .com/.net) while there is no single user of fb in my network.
All just by apps preinstalled on devices and visited websites.

I do not want use that stuff in my main Browser, and it should be possible to disable it, without appearing all the time. (I am also not interested on the notifications that there is " instagram integrated")

or you right click on desktop shortcut and go to preferences, there is tge path, you can copy and paste in in the win 10 explorer (pathbar) it opens it.

Did you add Opera to "autostart" ?
You can go to Opera folder under "Program files" where the Opera.exe is and create an shortcut, than copy it to autostart folder (Win+R then type shell:startup).

On the next boot Opera should load.

I didnt increase something.
Also the selecting of "Home" works it is no big problem, just want to report it, if you want to improve Opera for final release.

@andrew84 Hello I reportet this issue few weeks ago, but there was no reaction until now, hope it will be fixed soon.

reported color problem

It seems like the new design of Opera >54.0 produce color problems, the status bar on top have issues too.
When I switch from Private Tab the status bar is still Blue on "Usual" Tabs.
It happens often that the status bar is grey on Speed dial page while it is usually Red.
(I use Dark/Red theme)

Hello I tried actual Opera Beta and see a Bug.
On the upper 3dot menu is the last option to select (Home) behind the Android navigation bar.

I use an Xperia X with Android 8.0.0

@leocg Yes it loads up to 90% (colored status bar on top) then the bar stucks, if I try to zoom or scroll in the domain list (thats the content of website) a massage appears with "Opera dont react wait/close".
On the site is also just a little part of the content visible.

Its an large list of domains, in previous Opera mobile for Android releases it works fine.

For people with big fingers (like me) a additional button on lower navigation bar would be difficult to handle.

My suggestion is to make this feature like this:
in right upper menu there is still the share button, where it can be selected and changed the default share app.
Then Web pages can be shared quick and without additional steps by "long pressing Home button" in (home icon in lower navigation bar.

Example: you're on example.com page, then long press "Home" icon and the page is opening in default share app.
