If I use the V7 shortcut while the sidebar is open (ctrl + shift + s), it opens V7, but if I use the same shortcut when the sidebar is closed, Opera 70.0.3728.95 crashes & shuts down and relaunches
Still happens in 70.0.3728.95.
How To Set Keyboard Shortcut
Anyone know how to do this, and basically what is the default shortcut to start with. I used to open it with ctrl/shift S, but that doesn't work now.
You can set up your chosen shortcuts:
I use Ctrl+S to open sidebar (first) and Ctrl+Shift+S to open V7 Notes.
Change combinations around/remove as you please.
@bbildman Two stage move: First Ctrl + S to open sidebar then Ctrl + Shift + S to open V7.
Extension must be pinned to not disappear once you click in main window.
With HWA on, switch is not working. Flag worked as intended before removed.
No worries, I’ll just wait for
#force-color-profile to return.
sRGB has always worked before under normal settings, HWA on.
Chrome 84.0.4147.105 has it.
Opera\launcher.exe --force-color-profile=srgb has a space between
No space or ... is not accepted. #forced-colors does nothing on my system.
Thanks, I tested but to no avail.
Since #force-color-profile is back in latest Chrome, I expect it to return in Opera soon.
you can try to run the Opera with "--force-color-profile" switch, for example
Am I doing correct by editing the shortcut?
Opera.exe does not have a target field to change:
Oh well, if you have HWA disabled, Google Maps 3D does not work (no Globe option).
So now I must choose between normal functionality and correct color reproduction
(as close as you can in WIN10 browser outside Adobe environments, that for my setup was forced sRGB).
I have been trying to get forced sRGB back to see correct colors on my monitor.
This is the solution I’ve found on Opera 70.0.3728.71, Windows 10.
Add --force-color-profile=srgb to target line after Opera\launcher.exe
Turn off hardware acceleration.
If HWA is on, colors briefly flash correctly upon browser startup, but then revert to duller presentation.
So, for some reason HWA influences color management.
Could we please move the ‘delete folder’ from being right above ‘add bookmark’?
I have many times inadvertently put folder in trash bin, instead of adding URL.
We can assume that the add bookmark option is used much more frequently than delete folder.
WIN10-64 Opera 70.0.3728.71 Norwegian.
The opera://flags/#force-color-profile seems to have disappeared. The browser is now unable to use the color gamut of my monitor fully. Colors look drab compared to how they were previously.
+1, I also miss #force-color-profile flag.
In Chrome 84.0.4147.105 it is there.
As replied to your other post, the flag was removed as redundant. Sidebar extensions work.
But keyboard shortcuts still do not open sidebar extensions directly.
It’s a two-fase task. First open sidebar, then click chosen option or use chosen extension shortcut.
In Opera developer you can see more. Maybe some flags needs to be enabled.

How far back in time does the browser remember webpages visited?
My searches can only find data starting from April 2020.
WIN10-64. Opera 70.0.3728.71 Norwegian. HWA on.
Is it possible to have more than 3 recently closed tabs in Search in Tabs section?
Yes please, make a proper list like before (via down chevron).
