I usually use pop-out mode for assignments so I can do my assignment or take notes on the same tab as I watch my videos, and a lot of the time, I speed up the videos so I can watch it faster. However, I also like reading the captions that are generated with the videos, and I cannot do that when I pop the video out.
Please add a caption feature to the pop-out videos, for sites like Youtube!
