@stylus: I kind of hate that the OP didn't respond to you explaining the project to him. Considering OP doesn't understand/care how Grating it is to lob complaints and out-of-scope feature requests at an OSS maintainer/contributor, thinks clean text-based UIs in a (mainly) dev orientated app is bad a bad thing, and relies heavily on community themes makes me think he's not really the sort of individual this project is for.
I assume he's just an insolent poser teenager, considering his inability to accurately choose an analogic decade (90s would have been the minimum for any accuracy and far less hyperbolic).
My point in all of this is to submit my hope that you were able to educate him a bit, preventing him from continuing the path he was on. A path that would one day lead to him opening a posting an issue with the same attitude on some poor project's repo, hurting a community's morale, and end in a furious torrent of replies that make him feel like a gigantic jackass.
