Currently whenever you open for example messenger in the side window (not pinned), then alt-tab or just click into a different app and then alt-tab back or click into the side window, the side window will close.
Generally, this would be probably a minor inconvenience to just reopen the side window, but I'm using an emoji picker. And whenever I open the emoji picker and select the emoji and Opera gets refocused, the messenger will close and I have to reopen it.
And for reference, I checked with the Windows version and apparently, this is not the case in Windows. There if you focus different window and then get back (by alt-tabbing or clicking into the side window), the side window stays open.
Steps to reproduce (on Linux):
- open a side window (eg. Messenger, ChatGPT, WhatsApp, ...)
- alt-tab to a different window (or click here)
- alt-tab back to Opera (or click into the side window in Opera)
- side window gets closed
Information about PC (I don't think it's relevant to the problem, but just in case):
- OS: Manjaro x86_64
- Kernel: 6.5.5
- DE: KDE Plasma 5.27.8
- WM: KWin (Wayland, but the problem is also in X11)
- Opera version: 102.0.4880.70 stable installed from official repo (Extra) from Manjaro
Would it be possible to fix this minor bug?
