Has there been any effort to fix this yet?

@ruffed Thank you for the response. I tried reinstalling already and it did nothing, thanks for informing me.

I have notifications enabled on several sites and despite this I get none. I don't know why and can't find a reason online. It has been several months and I can't seem to get it to work and would rather not reinstall the browser. Please help.
