@newworldman I've always tested Vivaldi, but there always were some unexpected quirks. In my experience it doesn't run fine with WhatsApp in the panel, which works much more smooth in Opera.
Also, it happens to do not foreseen things in Instagram. Recently, I was logged out of my account, as I wanted to open my Threads account.
Otherwise a great browser, but it tends to make things to complicated in my opinion. And it's not willing to implement something like Aria, as they take a stand against AI.
For me it's Opera 1, Chrome 2, Safari 3 (on my Mac, but 2 on iPhone).

@jairewiz If you're on Chrome, why not reset Opera and delete all data which is possible without any reinstall? You can keep bookmarks by exporting them.
If you do, don't forget to turn out the option that Opera should start with system start - it's somewhere in the preferences.

@joschbang Hast du denn deinen Verlauf synchronisiert? Ich fürchte, du kannst das nur hinbekommen, indem du alle Seiten aus deinem Verlauf wieder aufrufst. Ich glaube nicht, dass Opera vollständige Sitzungen synchronisiert.
Ich würde jedenfalls Opera trotzdem auf dem neuen Laptop installieren und hoffen, dass es vielleicht die letzte Sitzung doch wiederherstellt, wenn du dich mit deinem Konto anmeldest.
Am besten ist, zukünftig solche Seiten als Lesezeichen in einem oder mehreren Ordnern abzuspeichern oder die „Pinboards“ zu verwenden, denn für solche Anwendungszwecke sind sie ja da.

I still can't connect to my Opera account on my Samsung A8. As you see, I made a new profile, I even reseted my tablet.

But neither connecting with QR-code nor trying to log in does work actually.
QR-code leads me to my own synchronization settings on Desktop. And when trying to log in, I'm shown re-captchas again and again, until finally a message appears beneath my e-mail-address, telling me: "something has gone wrong - try again" And so this vicious circle starts again.
