As I mentioned in my Request to Add a Home Button to the menu bar - I've used the setting to automatically switch to a new tab when it's opened for 20 years, it's very uncomfortable having to learn to do without it. I know Opera GX is different, it has a different focus and a different user in mind, but it shouldn't be stripped of the common settings all browsers use just to be different (also, I tend to think that the users in mind also used that feature too, it's faster, and streamlining tasks is a necessity for streamers).

For 20 years I've had a house on the menu bar, I could quickly go home and begin a new search. Opera GX has evicted us from that house, and I find it uncomfortable to open a new tab, and then have to click on the new tab (because I used the settings to automatically switch to new tabs when opened), and then I can begin a search. I definitely like the unique features Opera GX gives us, but please don't take away one of the very basic things a browser should have - the Home button.
