So, am I the only affected by this show stopper, or does nobody care?

authentication inconsistencyOpera for Linux
Hi!
There is a apache web-server running two ways: directly and as a servlet engine frontend, each supplying own space of URIs. Both ways has private URIs (still inside the same domain!) demanding authentication, both have got the same login/password pairs. Opera understands these division on login - at both cases Opera asks login/password. But it remembers only one case while at the other one asking login/password again.
Just for comparison: Firefox hasn't got the issue.
At the moment I run the last stable Opera, but with recent dev version the issue plays the same way.
Is there some configuration options I have missed to resolve the issue?

RE: Sidebar stealing focusOpera add-ons
The sidebar extension is supposed to be more persistent. Even if clicking soemwhere on the sidebar produces a new tab, it is quite reasonable to expect that the user still wants to focus on the sidebar.
Sorry, I don't grok thees statements in a common, that is I don't see those reasons for "supposed to be more persistent" and "the user still wants to focus on the sidebar" to be the only use cases. Yes, there are use cases supporting these statements, and there are use cases with opposite sense - bookmarks panel is one of them.
I would more understand "it is up to sidebar to decide which focus policy is handy for user".

RE: Gesture problemsOpera for Linux
Just upgraded to opera-developer 36.0.2129.0. It seems something has changed with gestures: now they do work as democratic as expected
So the only gestures-related problem remaining is a very limited set of commands.

Thanks for the information! That is I just must find a piece of patience to wait for the feature inclusion into the official Opera release.

How to reduce zoom step?Opera for Linux
Hi!
Haven't found a way to reduce zoom step value. 10% is too large for ture comfort.

How to disable dial tab at all?Opera for Linux
How to disable dial tab at all? It's very annoying... Just blank (or assigned) would be the way.

Gesture problemsOpera for Linux
Hi!
Am estimating Opera as a main browser, and have got these gestures problems:
-
Sometimes they don't trigger - it takes place on down-right, that is on tab closing. It seems there is some strict filter deciding is it gesture or not. Old days Opera, Firefox and Chromium - all was/are much more democratic here.
-
Real lack of go-page-top (left up), go-page-bottom (left down) and reopen-last-closed (left-right-left) gestures.
These both problems are almost show stopper for me.
Are there workarounds? -
