Since opera has workspaces already, I think it would be really cool if they did more with it. As of right now it is just a slightly different version of tab islands, as in all it really does is give you a new area to work with, essentially creating a new window inside the window

I think it would be really neat if they added the ability to have a different bookmark folder to show up as the bookmark bar in different workspaces. So, for example. you could set up two workspaces; one that would be for work and other for general use

the work one could have all your emails and needed website on the bookmark bar

but the bar on the general workspace, you can set up Youtube or whatever you don't want to use

this would help keep work sessions separate allowing better working environment. Maybe could also add something like opening a link from somewhere else, will open that tab in a specific workspace. so if you were to open a Spotify link, it would take you to the general workspace and when you open a Gmail link it would take you to the 'work' workspace. This would obviously have to be manually set up by the user, as which domain should open up in which workspace
