Fixed it. In case anyone looks this up in the future, Opera is Chromium based, so you can go to the chrome webstore and install chrome addons in opera. So I just installed Disable AutoScroll on Opera, and bingo bango problem solved!

Is there a way to disable the mouse wheel auto-scrolling (or "panning") without disabling the ability to middle-click?
I've recently gotten a new mouse, and the center scroll wheel's click is suuuuuper sensitive, and as a result, I'll find myself accidentally clicking it while scrolling through webpages (which either causes me to zoom through the page at lightning speed, or I don't realize I've pressed it and I think that my mouse is malfunctioning or something... both options are way frustrating). I know I can disable its functionality completely through the mouses software, but I use the center click function a ton for things like opening links in new tabs, or quickly closing said new tabs.
Is there a way to disable the auto-scrolling function without disabling the middle click function? Chrome has an addon called Disable AutoScroll that did the trick. Does Opera have something similar? I'm trying to make the switch from Chrome, and this is more or less the last thing keeping me on the ol' RAM hog as my daily driver, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
