Split-screen is going to be useful!
(And I am SO glad to be able to switch off those damned emojis.)

Get rid of purple data fieldsSuggestions and feature requests
Please can you get rid of that horrid purple background on data entry fields!
It's not just ugly, but is basic bad design. It's difficult to read text in Opera's default thin sans-serif text in black against this purple background. I have normal vision and can sometimes struggle to see what I've typed. People with vision problems must find it impossible.
If you think coloured fields are a cool idea, then make them a customisable option. Default normal white, let the user choose any other colour.

Scroll buttons are goneGeneral
Just got the latest upgrade and the scroll buttons are gone[link text](link url)!
I'm on a computer using a mouse. I want to be able to click an up or down button to scroll through a page in small, sensible, predictable amounts. Holding down the mouse in the scroll zone makes it go way too fast. Trying to click and drag the grey bar is jittery and unpredictable.
Programs for PC aren't mobile apps and shouldn't be forced to copy them, especially when this removes basic useability like being able to scroll through a page.
If you've really been getting requests to remove the scroll buttons, why not make this an interface appearance option? Anybody who enjoys that kind of inconvenience can have it.

RE: [Compilation]Discussions on Scrolling doesn't work if the mouse is on the edge of the screenGeneral
The latest version of Opera is weirdly, incredibly sensitive to stray clicks on the border of the vertical scrollbar. When clicking fast on the bar area or the down arrow -- which is pretty common during browsing -- the slightest nudge of the cursor towards the border area shoots the window into "restore" (small) size.
Have to re-maximise it, start scrolling again, and then blam! it's small again.
This has happened to me something like 20 to 50 times today. It never happened in previous versions, and it's never happened in other programs. I doubt my browsing behaviour has changed overnight.

Add a margin to right-click menuSuggestions and feature requests
It's only a small thing, but it irks me every time!
The new version's right-click menu (open in new tab, save image, etc. etc.) doesn't have a left margin. Or at least doesn't have enough of a left margin to let the lines breathe. The text is crammed right up against the edge of the pop-up menu. It's making my designer's eye twitch.
In the next version, please reinstate the menu margins. Thanks!
