Using windows 11 touchscreen I can't drag tabs or close tabs using the x. The x isn't visible. Both things worked in older opera versions before the opera one update. Both things work when using the virtual/on-screen touchpad or mouse. Maybe a touchscreen setting or flag can be useful for us touchscreen users.
