@misterdoge It opens the shortcut menu for the current window, same as right click on the top menu bar. Maybe you have autohotkey or a program bypassing it, or maybe the current window is bypassing it.
Some prebuilt computers have also a bug that prevent that shortcut from working.

I checked, that shortcut works since Windows 3.1, so it's been ~28 years.

@misterdoge It is especially on windows. It has been there since at least Windows 98 I think, and it's a major one.
Would you override Alt+Tab? That would be pretty stupid

@smartbar Alt+Space is an OS shortcut that shouldn't ever been use

@leocg You could add Gmail or any website here, if only Opera didn't lock us out from basic functionality

I miss the old Opera 12 for letting the users choose how to use their browser and customize it completely to your own need.
Instead of everything being locked and not meeting any needs.

Why spend time to implement specific sidebar website when you could spend time to implement an add (+) button to let the user add any custom website... That decision is beyond me, the sidebar has so much potential but we are so limited and nearly useless right now

@kmielczarczyk All those issues are on Windows 7 (with an RTX2070 if that's important) and OSX High Sierra (10.13.2). I am pretty sure they are on Chrome too
Only the video popout showing as a black rectangle without buttons has only happened on Windows 7, for now.

On OSX though there is one more bug: if you put a part of the video outside of your screen and try to press the close button, the button doesn't work. You can click it a thousand time, nothing happens. You need to put all parts of the popout in the screen to able to close it.

@regnareb Some other bugs related to videos pop-out :

• Subtitles don't work anymore
• The favicon showing there is audio playing in the tab isn't displayed anymore

@regnareb Forgot about the ""original video disappear" and the new way is even more broken as it often stays black too

Sadly the video pop-out is still completely broken. If you use the old ways it stays completely black, and if you use the new system it:

• resets the position and size each time,
• cant pause when clicking the video
• but it pauses the video when closing the popout???
• cant adjust the volume,
• the video becomes grey when you put your mouse on it

@stanislavstratil: Tab stacking and workspaces are totally different things. If you want to make a comparisons, Workspaces are more similar to sessions than anything

This version is basically unusable for me. so much has disappeared from the previous versions, the popout videos are SOOOOO buggy:

• There are no controls anymore on the popout window
• You can't scale up the window anymore, you are limited to a very tiny window.... what's even the point????
• When you close the window it pauses the video... Wth?
• They don't save their position and size, so each time you have to move it (not even talking about resizing as you can't do that anymore)

You can bring back the old ones with flags, but I sure hope you won't limit the new ones and bring back all those essential features.

You add a tracker blocker to the browser but you also add big advertisements directly in the speed dial.... Seriously???
I didn't went to Opera for that kind of shitty practices

Regarding PDF files it would be great if mouse gestures were working while viewing one.
