@rayandrews, what exactly is the problem you get and with which version of Opera? Opera doesn't use gstreamer.
So what does it use to play multimedia? Audio, video and MIDI? Does it come with its own audio/video codecs? What about MIDI? (by the way, I have not yet tested MIDI from Opera)
