Download Opera browser with:
Linux distribution and version: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Noble.
Version of Opera: 113.0.5230.32.
When having the "Automatically hide sidebar" function set to true, it stops working after minimize and maximize the Opera Windows.
Steps to (try to) reproduce the issue:
Expected behavior: Sidebar is showing up. 
Actual one: Sidebar is not showing up.

Try to update your Linux and see if that resolves the issue:
On terminal write sudo apt-get update and then sudo apt-get upgrade. That should do the trick.
