RE: Youtube Crashing pageOpera for Linux
Same here, Running Linux Mint 21.2 (Mate), recently after updating Opera One to 122.0.5643.17 (system package, not Flathub) it was crashing youtube as descibed by @Forgottenleo
I tried updating uBlockOrigin Quick Fixes but no help. Disablint uBO also did not help either, no OperaAdblock. I do have an Pi-Hole that filters most of the ads.
Maybe now it would work better since there was a recent Chromium update and I have routine that copies the codecs from Chromium after update, but I did not try yet.
What I did was downgrading Opera to 121.0.5600.50 by downloading the opera-stable_121.0.5600.50_amd64.deb from opera ftp, and install it via cmd:sudo dpkg -i opera-stable_121.0.5600.50_amd64.deb
Hope this issue will be fixed soon. For now I will wait till the next Opera version.

Quick access to passwords manager (from Menu or Settings page)Suggestions and feature requests
In order to check passwords (or edit) I need to open the settings, search for passwords and then open Password Manager (which opens in a separate window).
It would be nice to have some way of directly accessing the Password Manages, e.g. from a link in the Left column of the settings page (there is plenty of space):Basic Privacy & security Password Manager Features Browser
or from the main menu (Opera logo) e.g. between Settings and Help.
Why: in order to be able to easily and fast access the passwords, e.g. some companies require a regular password change or if you want to quickly check or edit the password.
It would also make sense from an UI-flow point of view, since the Password Manages opens in a separate page than the main settings page. -
RE: Opera 119.0.5497.56 Stable updateBlogs
The InRelease (https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/dists/stable/) is signed with an expired GPG key. Signature is still using key ID 24A1004B1F11DCC9, which is the expired 2023 key. Even though the file was generated on May 28, 2025, Opera has not updated the signing key used to sign it.
OS: Linux Mint 21.2 x86_64
Kernel: 5.15.0-140-genericfrom apt update:
W: GPG error: https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable stable InRelease: The following signatures were invalid: EXPKEYSIG 24A1004B1F11DCC9 Opera Software Archive Automatic Signing Key 2023 packager@opera.com
E: The repository 'https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable stable InRelease' is not signed.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default. -
RE: why is there a white line on a video wherever my cursor isOpera GX
@RoshanKV Thanks! that worked for me!
Interestingly I have disabled it (Lucid Mode) previously and after an update it was turned on, thus again turn it off.
