Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have never used YouTube Music but whenever I get some free time, I will definitely check and update this extension to take care of that too.
I don't think it will be that complicated.

1. If you are using version 2.6, it must work. My music never stops even if I am in a different browser all the time.

2. I am not sure since I've never used that browser and its add-on. You are welcome to give it a shot. But the extension is activated when it sees a tab with youtube.com address. It all depends how that add-on is operating.
