@rmkay: Are you comparing the capacity of humans of taking existing elements, reassembling them by accessing to their reach subconscious built upon emotion, experience, culture, study, to an algorithm that does nothing else that outputting a copy of an existing style? Oh boy.
This myth that what AI does is not different from what human do is worth only of 5th grade thinkers. The rest of us understand too well that AI has nothing to do with creativity but just marketing.
Is it useful? Sure, for some things. Is there any actual Art in it? Not even a chance and people who believe the opposite are simply lacking basic education to understand why.
Maybe it's time for this AI acolytes to pick up some real Art book and stop reading/believing all the mantra they read on the Internet.
