I am curious if this forum is monitored. It used to the place where account problems were handled.
Is Opera being swallowed up by Google or something.

An Opera account, previously held does not open. This, since Opera closed its past forum. When trying to retrieve a
password, a useless link is sent. Why not clear the decks, at this point none of my current emails work and I had to create an obscure email address to log onto this forum.

Opera is no longer user friendly, seems to be in limbo and I fail to see why it is not moving forward.

I also have an issue with Opera Accounts. I had an original account using an old email address and several months ago created a new account for the android with my current one. Suddenly access was denied and I was told that it was closed due to spam. Trying to get a new password for either email yielded a message that the reset link was bad.

I have tried a half dozen times to access the forum that was indicated to clear up account issues.
I have been able to access this forum after creating an alias, but it is not the email address I wish to use.

How the heck can opera clear the decks so that we can start over?

This is a great product but the management of and overhead of the accounts is sadly lacking.

And I agree that there should be a way to migrate the old email account. Opera is not a small time operation, just acting like one!

Opera needs to provide a way to allow persons with previous accounts to use those accounts in opera link and on this forum.
The contact forum to address account problems is not functional and password reset returns a non existant url or says closed due to spam. I need to find a way to have Opera reset the previous accounts so I can use them. I had to create an email account specifically to use for this and its not what I wish.

Opera, please supply a link that is secure so that former email addresses can be used to create an account.
