It would be really handy to be able to open speed dial items in a new tab. I currently have speed dial set up as my home page, and my usual routine is to open a page, wait for it to load to be able to then press the new tab button, before proceeding to open up my next page to read. Being able to just open up what I want to read in a new background tab would be much more efficient, or at least allow the new tab button to be pressed instantly instead of waiting for the partial page connection
