A setting reset lead to nothing, so I decided to go the hard way.
I deinstalled Opera one and deleted all left folders on the harddisk in prg and user folders, So I did a clean start und installed Opera from scratch. With just Bitwarden and Ghostery active the problem was back.
However it turned out if Ghostery is deleted to works again. Just deactivating that plugin did not help, which is annoying! However the problem started with the last Opera update, so cause seams to be something between Opera and Ghostery.
Nevertheless the problem is found and thank you for that.

Hey leocg, I disabled all extensions plus restarted the browser but same problem. I also deleted all cookies related to YT.
But - when I start the same YT video in a private window it runs correct including showing the controls.
What is wrong here?
bwt, the problem started with the last Opera Update.

My educated guess would be it has something to do with the new video pop out function. I seams the video is played beyond a window with wrong size.
Also interesting maybe - played on a Ryzen 5600X with Radeon RX6600XT graphics. Adrenalin ver 24.10.1. Window 11 updated

Since last version the youtube playback has a serious bug. The video is cut by 2/3 at the right lower side and the picture control buttons are missing. When switched to flyout window the video is scaled correct but still missing the control buttons. Mike
