Mine is doing the same. Once I open Opera GX it will lock up the whole computer. If i wait a minute my pc unfreezes but then freezes again. I can minimize Opera and my pc seems to run better. Running Win10, using Opera GX. Specs are Ryzen 5500/16gb/Rx 6600 with latest drivers installed. I cleared cache for all time and no change, reinstalled opera GX and no change, turned off hardware acceleration and no change. Ran memtest and it passed. Opera is installed on my gen4 NVME which is in good health according to crystal disk. PC runs Opera fine under linux. Definitely a Windows issue.
