I tried Opera again because it now offers all in one browser+VPN solution which is quite neat, but was immediately put off by all sorts of annoying effects and animations. Guys, effects look funky only for the first three minutes, then they become plain annoying. Smooth scrolling gives me nothing but motion sickness and the fact that I can see interface transitions tells me only that my computer is slow, and that's a cardinal sin. Googled, found nothing except "can't be done". If it is indeed true, please add an option to disable smooth scrolling and other effects and animations so that all reactions to keystrokes and mouse events will be instantaneous without artificial delays. Without that Opera will always remain a curio, a #2 or #3 browser for me.
