$19.90/month for a browser is wild. Opera Neon isn't really a browser though — it's an AI agent that manages tabs, does research, and compares prices for you. Still a tough sell. People already have too many subscriptions, and $20/month is Netflix-tier money for something that's been free for 25 years. The bigger issue: most users actively don't want AI controlling their browsing. If the agentic features genuinely save time, maybe it's worth it — but Opera has to prove that against Edge, Chrome, and Perplexity Comet, which do similar things for free or cheaper. Hard pass.
