Hi!
I am one of the kind of users that usually works with numerous tabs in multiple windows. Each window containing tenths of tabs according to area of the activity.
I am missing a feature to be able to work more efficient in some cases.
There is a good reason as to why there is a tab function 'Close tabs to the right'. I use it moderately rare.
What I am missing here is 'Move tabs to the right to a new window' (including marked one). This would help a lot to congregate tabs of the same kind in the same place and in the window which represents area of activity.
I know that we can move tabs around (including move to a new window) but 'BULK move' would help a lot and shorten the works. Now, there are two variants of this - move bulk of tabs to a new window and the same but moving to an existing window.
most useful tab functions that I use:
- often - move tabs (left right and to a new window)
- often - search tabs (this one is possibly one of most useful)
- moderately - duplicate tab
- rarely - close tabs to the right - reason is that I have already congregated tabs of the same activity area in particular window, and I would typically close whole window if I not need the area any more.
For that matter there is another thing that I am missing too: 'Go back to a previously used/selected tab'.
Sometimes I switch to another window to another tab and then spend a lot of time to find the previous one where I have been just a moments ago.
This is another level compared to standard 'go back' and 'go forward' (history) which are way less useful.
Thank you!
