@leocg OK. Created a new user and it worked, but:

1. I don't have my data of course
2. I always have to switch user to access OGX

@leocg quick update: seems that by moving my data to somewhere else (so opera gx can't find it) didn't change anything. Now i'll try this thing about using a different user.

@leocg How do I create a new user? Also you sure something will change? What if it's something corrupted in my opera gx data files? I'll try moving it and installing opera without that data.

@leocg Yes I can install other programs (I tried with normal Opera), also what do you mean with creating a new user?

So nodoby can't help me solve this? At least how can I transfer my data?

@leocg no. Error persist as I've mentioned in the topic. Is there a solution for this? I use OGX as my main browser.

Hello, i'm having a problem with installing Opera GX. Before I start, I already had OGX, but for the umpteenth time didn't open. This time I unistalled it (with leaving my personal data) and tried to install it but failed. Tried with both online and offline mode, changed location of the installer and run it with administrator....same error. If gives me the error when the installation is almost complete.

I'm using Windows 10 pro.

I'm having a similar error. When it's almost done, it says "A problem occurred installing Opera!". Neither online and offline in different installer location and running as administrator fixes the error. I'm using as OS Windows 10 Pro, version 1909.
