@home-world You can add a search engine in the "other search engines" section, but, you cannot set the added search engine as default because when you click on the 3 vertical dots the only option is "remove" - there's no option to set the added search engine s default. That only works in the top section!!!!!
Please make it possible to set ecosia.org as default search engine. (I can add it as additional search engine, but then can't set as default anyway, so what's the point?) I urge you to include ecosia.org as one of the "default" search engines that can be chosen as default. It plants a tree for every 45 searches, plus they are 200% energy self-sufficient - their whole operation eliminates 200% of the carbon it creates - -100% carbon footprint!
I agree - we need to be able to set Ecosia.org as default search engine, otherwise we'll use another browser! Gotta plant trees when I search!
