@leocg From what I know the Web version of Instagram does not have any Direct Messaging features. It's exclusive to the mobile version. The problem is my friend is able to Direct Message on his Opera GX Instagram sidebar and I'm lacking that feature. Could there be anything to do with regions?

So I've just downloaded Opera GX and was quite disappointed to find that the promised mobile-like Instagram sidebar feature isn't working for me, and instead it shows the web version. I can't receive nor send Direct Messages to anyone. My friend who recommended me Opera GX has this feature and it's working perfectly fine for him.
Has anyone encountered the same problem?
