@flaviu2 Agreed, this is truly an awful change. It also means that those with disabilities are less able to manipulate the browser. Opera why would you make your product less accessible simply for the purpose of a stupid "modular" design that no one asked for?

RE: [Compilation]Discussions on Scrolling doesn't work if the mouse is on the edge of the screenGeneral
With the new Opera the vertical scroll bar is no longer flush with the edge of the window when maximised. This is extremely annoying as it means that if you move the mouse to the rightmost part of the screen you cannot click on the scroll bar to drag it. This seems to be inspired by the the bubble design of the browser? Anyway, very frustrating - please change Opera!

Make sidebar flush with screen edgeSuggestions and feature requests
Unbelievable that the "modular" design seems to mean that the scrollbar is no longer flush with screen edge? In any other software with a vertical scrollbar moving the mouse to the rightmost edge of the screen allows you to click and drag the scroll. This ill-thought modular design means that you have to be far more precise with your mouse movements. Not only is this extremely frustrating for the average user, resulting in many misclicks, but I would imagine for those with disabilities (e.g. using mouse-ball etc.) this would make the browser much more challenging to use. What an egregious example of form over function...

RE: [Compilation]Discussions On How To Go Back To Old (99) UIAppearance
@makoruu Yes I have the same thing, essentially moving the cursor to the extreme right of the screen means you click on an entirely unnecessary border (that is only there to preserve the modular design) rather than the scroll bar. I have checked and no other software that I use with a vertical scroll bar does this. What a terrible change.
