Issue: Detached video window moves off-screen when using two monitors on Windows 11.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Opera on a dual-monitor setup (Windows 11).
- Play a YouTube video.
- Use the “detach video” / “picture-in-picture” feature.
- Move the detached video window to one screen.
- On the other monitor, trigger a file selection dialog (for example, by uploading a file on a website).
Expected behavior:
The detached video window should stay in place, visible on the chosen screen.
Actual behavior:
When the file dialog appears on the second monitor, the detached video window unexpectedly shifts position and disappears off the visible screen area. It often moves outside the desktop boundaries and becomes inaccessible until the feature is turned off and reactivated.
System info:
- OS: Windows 11 (25H2)
- Opera version: 123.0.5669.23
- Dual-monitor setup, different resolutions
Additional notes:
This seems to happen only when the file dialog is opened on the opposite screen from where the detached video is located. Please fix or add logic to constrain the PiP window to the visible screen area.
Thanks!
