RE: [Flathub/SteamOS]Opera GX doesn't openOpera GX
@leocg Because downgrading is the only option to use the browser.
the latest update from
flathub (specifically this app’s update) broke the linux client. -
[Flathub/SteamOS]Opera GX doesn't openOpera GX
OS - SteamOS
Version - 129.0.5823.49
Browser does not open even when uninstalling and reinstalling. The new update/version entirely broke the browser so unless you downgrade the version of opera gx you cannot use this browser on linux anymore with flathub.
How to reproduce - Click install from the browser in flathub, simply try to open the browser after that it just won't open even though it should.
Additional Note: trying to run it with konsole (steamos console) gives you this
/app/opera-gx/opera-gx: symbol lookup error: /app/opera-gx/opera-gx: undefined symbol: av_dynamic_hdr_smpte2094_app5_to_t35
