An update on this.
Seems like there is some sort of time limit of how long they will stick (one week?). I now have only a single instance left. But it is still named (3). I guess it doesn't matter.

Anyone know how to clean up this? opera://activity
Multiple instances of the same device (opera://activity). I believe it was caused because I had to uninstall opera from the phone. So when reinstalling the sync created a new instance of the same device.
