Nope - Laptop is 43.xxx and is for 32 bit. Don't know why that matters. Desktop is previous version, 64 bit - Stable and should have a menu button, its just not displaying.

No Menu tab on opera-stable_42.0.2393.517_amd64.debOpera for Linux
I have opera running on a laptop with Xubuntu. There is a Menu tab on the Tab bar. I am also using Opera on my desktop with Ubuntu 16.04. I am running opera-stable_42.0.2393.517_amd64.deb. I cannot find a Menu tab on my desktop version, anywhere. If I go to the start page, I can click on the tool icon ("Customize start page") and access icon, "Go to browser settings," but thats as close as I can get to the Menu tab, and that does not allow me to access multiple options found on the Menu tab. Please help
