ill repeat it: scratch (a web page) get effected youtube, roblox etc. dont (also web pages). some extensions with a light background get effected too.

@leocg Grammarly extension, BlockLive extension, scratch, Jambofy extension (don't ask)
anything with a white background
What's weird is that youtube light mode isn't effect by this, nor is Roblox light mode, desmos, etc.

@leocg only in some, i had to use turbowarp (basically scratch editor but a bit better) to use scratch because the colors were half inverted and half not depending on how close it is to black or white

@leocg i dont have any mods on.
i also already tried reinstalling, didn't change anything

why is it duplicated? like i stated it isn't "force dark pages"...

@blackalius have you reinstalled or reopened or restarted?

@feroblob just to be sure you havent limited anything in the gx control right?
that's the only thing i can think of that can effect it

@Toaos I'm pretty sure that your computer hardware specs are the problem
because I tried replicating your problem by opening yt shorts with task manager and looking at how that goes
it didn't eat up my CPU, it eats the same amount of CPU as loading a video on YouTube.
I'm not on premium and I have a bunch of extensions
I compared the same test with Google Chrome and Firefox (with no extensions), and Opera GX still ran better overall.

i was using scratch before and went to sleep and the background suddenly became black when i came back from sleep, this also happened to my extensions, (no this is not a forced dark page issue as its disabled.)
