It seems it is caused by 'Show Promoted Suggestions', an option under the 'Enhanced address bar' section within the advanced options.
If you untick this and then test again, you get the same suggested result with the same site logo, but this time it isn't a 'promoted' suggestion and therefore doesn't try go through the ad-tracker link on tatrck.com
